UHD Food Fair

The University of Houston-Downtown (UHD) is partnering with the Houston Food Bank to host an on-campus drive-through Food Fair on Friday, March 12. This drive-through event will begin at 1:00 p.m. Food distribution will take place in the student drop-off location on Girard Street. We kindly ask that you begin lining up no earlier than 12:30 p.m.

The Food Fair is an opportunity for you to come and get free groceries for you and your family. This event is open to all UHD students, Alumni, Faculty, Staff and Family and a student ID is not required. However, you must register for the event to be eligible.

How do I register for the Food Fair?

Register via text message:

Text the Keyword 'HFBPS' to 94502. You will receive a link to a survey. After you have completed the survey, take a screenshot or bookmark the completion page of the survey. Upon your arrival to the distribution on Saturday, you will show UHD food distribution staff your survey completion page to receive the food.

Or, register via computer or internet browser:

Complete the Registration Survey. Print, screenshot, or take a picture of the survey completion page. Upon your arrival to the distribution on Saturday, you will show UHD food distribution staff your survey completion page to receive the food.

Please note, registration via text message is the preferred method.
