Khang Huynh
Khang is a third-year student at UHD pursuing a degree in Microbiology, while being an active member of the O’Kane Theatrical Acting Troupe. Before joining O'Kane, he has several onstage and offstage experience on shows and productions throughout his past life. Now he has brought memorable characters to life in several UHD productions and assisted in the process of the productions for two years. Khang’s passion, contribution, and unwavering dedication make him an invaluable part of the O’Kane Theatre family.
Beach Rosa
Beach Rosa is pursuing a BAFA Drama Concentration degree with a minor in Arts Administration here at UHD. While being a consistent and present member of the O’Kane Theatre from working onstage and backstage to being the front of house manager for 3 years. They like to contribute in anyway and anywhere that they can and will rise to any Theatre challenges that come their way. Beach is a strong organizer who’s cโommitted and passionate to the art of Theatre.
Sofia Hurtado
Sofia is a BFA student with a concentration in Drama and plans to minor or double major in Marketing. She has held leadership roles in seven organizations across college and high school, including Associate Producer and Actors’ Deputy with the San Jacinto College South Ravens Theatre Company, Vice President of the Walter P. Webb Historical Association, and Secretary of the Honors Ambassadors Organization. With her background in leadership, organization, and communication, Sofia is excited to bring her skills to the role of Drama Student Council Vice President.
Each nominee has demonstrated leadership in unique and meaningful ways, and we are proud to see them step forward as role models.
The O’Kane Student Leadership program provides opportunities for students to grow as leaders, represent their peers, and contribute to the culture and success of our school. Over the next week, voting will be open to Drama Interest Groups Members. You may only vote once.
Elections close Sunday January 18th at midnight CST.
