2022 TEx Conference

Join us for our annual TEx Conference which will be held virtually. This year's theme is ACCELERATE!

As an ATA participant, attending this event would give you a head start on what UHD, as well as ATA, has to offer. In addition to gaining some great information and key takeaways, participants who attend ALL conference sessions and complete the feedback survey after the conference will be put into a drawing to win a new HP laptop bundle! We will have many great speakers and presentations that will prepare you for your journey to accelerate your degree completion!

Success Coaching Sessions

Fall 2022 Cohort, the deadline to schedule your first session with your success coach is Oct. 7th.

Spring 2022 Cohort, the deadline to schedule your session for the semester is Nov. 4th.

To schedule an appt, log in to Navigate (EAB). On the left menu, click "Appointments", then click on "Schedule an Appointment" on the top right. Select special programs then Accelerated Transfer Academy. Choose who you would like to make your appointment with, either Dr. Jemma Sylvester-Caesar or Ashley Rosebrough. If you have any issues or problems, please contact your peer mentor.

Tip of the Week: Time Management

1. Write down everything - Even if you think you’ll remember a due date or something you have to do at work, write it down

2. Use your phone for good - Your phone can serve as an on-the-go calendar and scheduler.

3. Stick to a routine - Create a routine at the beginning of the semester so you can adjust to it early and then see if you have leftover time for other engagements.

4. Be healthy - Regular exercise can keep your energy levels up and getting adequate sleep at night can save time and increase your alertness and decrease your stress levels.

5. Stay organized - Save some time and avoid clutter by having separate binders, notebooks, and folders for each class.

6. Checklists are your friend - Having lists can be a helpful way of remembering everything you need to get done.

7. Find a balance - It’s okay to recognize when you are overwhelmed and to ask for help.
