UHD Upcoming Events

Are you interested in making an impact on your community? UHD’s Center for Community Engagement & Service Learning (CCESL) is pleased to announce its biannual call for applications to lead a Community Engagement project during the Fall 2022 semester that benefits the Greater Houston community.

Up to $1,500 is available in the form of grant money to support your service project if selected, and a portion can be awarded directly to you in the form of a scholarship! Multiple projects will be supported through this initiative. 

Submit your proposal by completing the application linked below by 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 31. Please note, you must sign into CampusGroups using your UHD credentials to complete the application.

If you would like to discuss an idea, please email ccesl@uhd.edu. Note that a faculty or staff mentor is required to guide the proposal and the project implementation. If you do not have a mentor, please send a message along with your idea so a suitable mentor can be found.
