End of Year Survey

The ATA program is funded by the US Department of Education through a grant. As a part of that grant, we must collect data from participants about the program. This survey is a very important part of our data collection.  And also, your feedback is important to us! This is your opportunity to help us to make the ATA program even more awesome than it already is! It will only take a few minutes of your time. 

Summer Financial Aid

Financial aid and scholarships are available and will cover up to 2 courses. Students who wish to be awarded financial aid for the summer semester must be enrolled in summer courses to be picked up for summer awarding. Make sure you have a FAFSA or TAFSA on file with UHD. You can find more info on the Financial Aid website. 
 

TEx Conference Registration & Volunteers

The TEx Conference is an opportunity for new UHD transfer students to connect and engage with the UHD campus, our student support services, and with one another. 

ATA Spring 2020 & Fall 2020 cohorts: Attendance MANDATORY as part of your ATA requirements. If you cannot attend virtually, please contact our office immediately. 

ATA Spring 2019 & Fall 2019 cohorts: We are in need of volunteers for this event to help facilitate our CLC breakout sessions. If you are willing to volunteer, please register via the TEx Conference link at the bottom of the newsletter.

Gator Emergency Fund

The Gator Emergency Fund helps students pay for emergency housing, unpaid utilities, medical expenses, food or other expenses that would otherwise force them to drop out of the University of Houston-Downtown. Assistance is still available. APPLY TODAY!
 

Student Advisory Committee

We are still accepting applications to serve on the committee for the Summer 2020, Fall 2020, Spring 2021 academic year. Some of the responsibilities of the committee will be to act as liaisons between ATA students & staff, encourage engagement and share resources, all to improve student experiences and the ATA program. 

*If you were on the committee previously and would like to remain, please let us know.

GatorMail 

It is VERY important that all students check their GatorMail throughout the summer, even if you are not taking summer classes. UHD will continue to send updates regarding campus operations and the possibility reopening. We are hoping (and crossing our fingers) that we will be able to serve our ATA students face-to-face soon!
