Access to basic needs, such as food, housing, childcare, mental health, financial assistance, and transportation, is critical for ensuring strong academic performance, increasing persistence and graduation, and improving well-being among students. Student Life Center:
Closing Dec. 5th

The Jesse H. Jones Student Life Center (SLC) will be closing as the home of Sports & Fitness for the final time at 5 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 5. For 25 years, the SLC has served as the home of Sports & Fitness, which will be moving to the new Wellness and Success Center (WSC) beginning December 6 with an opening date of January 17, 2023. Sneak-peek tour dates and times of the WSC for UHD students, faculty, and staff will be announced soon.
