GatorServe at 9/11 Day of Remembrance

Date/Time: Saturday, September 10, 2022, 8 AM – 2 PM
Location(s): Farias Early Childhood Education Center, Durkee Elementary School, & Northline Park

Register for UHD’s next biannual day of service event where volunteers will help to create and preserve beautiful and healthy environments where learning is enhanced. Guest speakers will include District H Councilmember Karla Cisneros and UHD’s President Dr. Loren Blanchard.

Volunteers will be provided with t-shirts, tools/supplies/instructions to complete the projects, and box lunches to go. Volunteers should come prepared to sweat and get dirty while completing projects. All volunteers over the age of 16 are welcome.

*Your participation will make you conditionally eligible to apply for the ATA Community Engagement Scholarship.

September ATA Program Meeting

Our first program meeting for Fall 2022 will be held on Friday, September 30th @ 2:30 PM – 3:30 PM. Program meetings are led by our peer mentors and will be your opportunity to get updates and ask any questions you have regarding ATA-related issues. Program meetings are a requirement of the ATA program for both Spring 2022 & Fall 2022 cohorts. All program meetings will be recorded for you to view later at your convenience.
