Survival Vs. Thrival: Reimagining Thriving
Societies and Communities for Black Girls
and Young Women

Presented by The Steve Fund, this event is an interactive and creative engagement session where participants will reimagine and reflect on their own survival and thrival practices. Tiana Brawley (MSW) leads this session for Black girls, young women, and nonbinary transfeminine individuals. Participants will discuss the concept of “Black Joy”, and what it means for Black girls and young women to thrive, not just survive, in our current society.
