Gourmet Gators

Gourmet Gators is the University of Houston–Downtown’s premier fundraising event, bringing together culinary excellence, community leaders, and supporters for an unforgettable evening in celebration of student success. Hosted on campus at the UHD Wellness & Success Center, the event features an intimate dining experience with small plates created by top local chefs representing a wide range of global cuisines.

Guests enjoy an evening of curated tastings, cocktails, and entertainment while connecting with faculty, alumni, donors, and community partners. Beyond the dining experience, Gourmet Gators highlights student achievement through storytelling and recognition of outstanding honorees who have made meaningful contributions to both UHD and the broader Houston community.
