Fall 2025 Veteran Stole Ceremony

Join us in celebrating the service, dedication, and academic achievements of our graduating veteran and military-connected students at the University of Houston-Downtown!

The Veteran Stole Presentation Ceremony is a special event honoring graduating veterans, active-duty service members, reservists, National Guard members, and military dependents. Each graduate will be presented with a commemorative stole to wear during commencement, symbolizing their service and sacrifice as they transition to the next chapter of their lives.

This meaningful ceremony brings together UHD faculty, staff, families, and the community to recognize the hard work and perseverance of our student veterans. Light refreshments will be served following the presentation.
