Details

GatorServe is a UHD tradition that brings together UHD students, staff, faculty, alum, friends, families, and community partners to complete projects in service of our neighbors. GatorServe is held on both Martin Luther King Jr. Day and September 11th as they are National Days of Service.

This semester, UHD has adopted the historic Hermann Park in the Museum Park community with a goal of completing an ecological restoration project. We will restore native plant ecosystems, prep trails for visitors, and remove invasive species.

Volunteers will meet at the Wortham Pavillion located at 6001 Fannin Street 77030 (directly across from the METRO Rail stop).

Important Registration Information
  • When registering, select only one option. Multiple registrations will be deleted.
  • Members of the UHD community should log in using their UHD credentials rather than creating a guest account.
  • Only pre-approved volunteers may select the Event Hospitality / Lead registration option. Unapproved registrations will be deleted.
Food Provided (Volunteers should eat prior to arriving - light breakfast snacks will be offered and premium boxed lunches to go will be provided. )
