This is the first volunteer event of the semester we have partnered with AMSA (American Medical Student Association) and are going to be volunteering at the Houston Food Bank on March 7 from 8:00 am-12:00 pm.
The Houston Food Bank's mission is food for better lives. They provide food to the surrounding community and help communities facing natural disasters.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

Varies with the makeup volunteers for the shift. Most of the projects at the warehouse involve inspecting, sorting, and repackaging donated food items for community distribution.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- Closed-toe shoes are required
-Long pants (preferred)
