Armstrong WW
ArmstrongWW, born Armstrong Agbor Tanyi Orock in November 2001 in Garoua, Cameroon, is a Cameroonian American musician, songwriter, and producer based in Houston, Texas, and an alum of the University of Houston–Downtown. Moving to the U.S. at around seven years old, he began creating music at a young age and has since released various singles and projects independently. His stage name, “WW,” stands for “World Wide,” reflecting his desire to share his message globally. ArmstrongWW’s music is known for being “genre-less,” blending alternative soul, hip-hop, indie, and experimental sounds, often layered with thoughtful lyrics and unique vocal arrangements. Notable tracks include Call You?, Imperfect, Butterfly Revolution, Mr. Stone, Autopilot, and his 2025 single ULTRAMAN!. Through his work, he explores personal and mental health themes, storytelling, and social commentary, aiming to inspire individuality, freedom of thought, and emotional honesty in his listeners.
