About Us
The UHD Food Market is designed to give students who are currently enrolled at the University of Houston-Downtown the opportunity to shop for fresh produce, meats, and many other type of groceries for no exchange whatsoever. As part of our Food for Change Program UHD students have the ability to shop for up to 30 pounds of FREE food in our very own food market! Our mission is to allow students to save money on food and groceries in order to save for other necessities and maintain a greater focus in school.
